1. Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide. This may include your name, contact details, business information, community location, and written responses submitted through our partner or community forms. When you use the Barakah Rewards app, we may also process account, points, rewards, and transaction information needed to provide the service. Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information such as request time, browser details, and IP address to deliver and protect the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to operate Barakah Rewards, process points and rewards, respond to inquiries, evaluate partner fit, understand where communities want Barakah to grow, prevent abuse, and improve our services. We do not sell personal information or use form responses for behavioural advertising.

3. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we process. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but access to submitted information is limited to authorized people and service providers who need it for the purposes described here.

4. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to a request, maintaining required business records, resolving disputes, and protecting the service. We then delete or de-identify it where appropriate.

5. Third-Party Services

We use service providers for hosting, data storage, communications, and secure form delivery. They may process information only to provide those services to us and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations. Information may be processed outside your province or country and may be subject to the laws of that location.

6. Privacy-Safe Website Analytics

We use a restricted, cookieless PostHog configuration to measure a limited set of website events, such as a page category viewed, an app-store or partner-application link selected, and whether a form reached a step or returned a success or error state. We also record a broad device category and an approved acquisition category such as direct, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, search, or referral. After a partner application is accepted, we record only a coarse GTA market area derived from the submitted city or service area. We do not send the entered location, other form content, names, email addresses, full page URLs, search parameters, or session recordings to analytics. The provider uses memory-only persistence and does not create a marketing profile. You can turn this measurement off or back on at any time.

7. Your Rights

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
